Tasks / Duties / Responsibility
You will work closely with the Principal Bridge Engineer and see through the planning, management and delivery of all bridge projects, both in N.Z and overseas. You will also provide direction for a team of junior engineers and CAD Technicians in the various aspects of bridge & transportation related structural design, construction & maintenance. You will be involved with hands on structural design work and management & marketing activities.

World Class multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, based in the structural team in New Market, Auckland; the company takes on a variety of projects nationwide as well as overseas.

At present the company is working on a number of major projects, including highway infrastructure construction, tunnel design and implementation, a large span bowstring arch bridge, and a waterfront development. Many of these projects are worth in excess of NZ$200 million.
Profile of Ideal Candidate
You will have a desire to expand the team's bridge workload by assisting in the preparation of tender proposals and contributing to marketing initiatives. You should have previous experience working on bridge projects - mainly design related, but also construction and maintenance. Additionally you will have structural design experience and computer literateracy in structural analysis programs such as SAM/LeapV as well as the standard Microsoft office suite. Lastly, you will have the desire and ability to mentor junior staff
