Canada - Emigrate to Canada

Emigrate To Canada

Rated as the best place to live in the world by a United Nations study, Canada has much to be proud of. A breathtakingly beautiful country that enjoys high environmental standards and an enviously low crime rate, it scores highly on all the important issues. Education, welfare, economical factors - everything that adds up to a superior quality of life.

For all its vast, wide open spaces, it still has a relatively small population, meaning there's room to grow. That's why you'll find most houses are detached and spacious with huge gardens. The scenery is spectacular but so too are the great cities like Toronto and Vancouver. These are exciting and dynamic places to live, blending cosmopolitan atmosphere with innovative thinking.

Canada accepts more skilled workers and entrepreneurs than other countries, awarding extra points for certain categories, so why not find out if you can make it with Four Corners Quick Eligibility Check.

Quality of life in Canada

Canada became a self-governing dominion in 1867 while still retaining some ties to the British crown. Since World War II, the impressive growth of the manufacturing, mining, and service sectors has transformed Canada from a largely rural economy into one primarily industrial and urban.

According to the United Nations Human Development Index, Canada has the highest quality of life in the world - and with only three people per square kilometre, Canada has the fourth lowest population density in the world.

The cost of living varies from province to province. Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal are the most expensive areas; Charlottetown, Winnipeg and Edmonton are much cheaper.

There are many climatic variations in this huge country, ranging from the permanently frozen icecaps north of the 70th parallel to the luxuriant vegetation of British Columbia's west coast.

The quality of the education in Canada from pre-school to university and beyond is world class and free for all children and students up to the age of 18. The Canadian government also subsidise higher education heavily, making Canada one of the top destinations for families with children.
